Here is your assignment if you choose to play along (cue the Mission Impossible music, please!):
1) Do you recall what you were doing in 1990? Family, school, work, hobbies, technology, genealogy, vacations, etc?
2) Tell us in a blog post of your own, in a comment on this blog, or in a Facebook or Google+ post.
I most definitely remember what I was doing in 1990. I was great with child and trying to look after three other children.
That was the year that I was pregnant with our oldest daughter. Our son turned four years old that year and was a little terror at times. One day, he suggested that we cut off my head so that he could look in to see the baby. Umm NO! He was a rascal, that one.
At the beginning of 1990, my brother and his wife met with some unfortunate circumstances and needed our help in caring for their two children (one hers, one theirs). My daddy and I went to Florida to pick the children up to bring them back to South Carolina. These children were 5 years old and about 6 months old at the time.
In December of that year, I gave birth to our daughter, five days past the due date. Though she was five days late, she was in all respects a premature baby. You can read her birth story here.
